PROJECT SYNOPSIS
EEK is a creative film portfolio I developed for a client, delivering a unique, abstract, interactive canvas-style website that challenges the typical scrolling experience.

EEK (Elliptical Experiences at the Keno) features a dynamic gallery of images that act as interactive links to individual projects, offering a unique and engaging user experience. The site is live here @ eek.cool!
Visitors can use their mouse to click, drag, and zoom through the gallery. They can toggle between image views and project titles for seamless navigation, while playful details like mouse coordinate tracking add an extra layer of interactivity.
For those who prefer a more structured approach, a comprehensive index provides an organized way to browse projects.

The uniqueness of this project allowed me to experiment with design, embracing a Brutalist aesthetic.
I really enjoyed mixing my creative vision with my client's ideas to ensure the final product was reflective of both their work and personality.

EEK was constructed using a combination of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript, enhanced by additional libraries to create unique 3D effects and interactivity.
I used version control to streamline the development process and maintain a clean, organized codebase. This ensured a robust and maintainable final product.

EEK began as an ambitious idea to create an unconventional portfolio for showcasing creative work. I worked closely with my client through months of iteration, ensuring every aspect of the design met their vision.
From concept to completion, the development process involved extensive experimentation and problem-solving, blending modern web technologies with innovative approaches to interactivity.
There were many iterations of this site - here are some screenshots showing how the site was going to look.

Eek showcases my ability to merge creativity with technical expertise, delivering an interactive, unconventional portfolio that serves both as an artistic statement and a functional tool. It also highlights my adaptability in working closely with clients to refine and iterate ideas into a polished final product.
