PROJECT SYNOPSIS
For a year, I ran Y2KORE - a Y2K clothing dropshipping site. I gained hands-on experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, customer service, and website management.

Y2KORE was my Y2K-inspired online clothing brand, channeling the iconic style of the early 2000s. In less than one year, it attracted 1,000+ Instagram followers and generated 200+ sales. This experience sharpened my skills in e-commerce, digital marketing, customer service, and website management, giving me a solid foundation in online retail and brand building.



This promotional video captures the essence of Y2KORE, showcasing the brand's distinctive identity. Created using Adobe After Effects, it also demonstrates my expertise in motion design.
I also created an animated poster to go with this campaign- one that could be used in between social media stories for example or on animated billboards.

User Engagement
Using Shopify, I built a professional, user-friendly store that allowed me to focus on understanding customer needs, analyzing market trends, and studying competitors.
Shopify's built-in analytics revealed insights into customer behavior, locations, and purchase patterns, helping me refine my marketing efforts and improve customer retention.
This experience taught me how to optimize the customer journey, boost conversions, and build repeat business.
Marketing & Customer Acquisition
To drive sales, I utilized various marketing strategies, including targeted social media ads on Facebook and other platforms. By focusing on specific audience groups, I was able to grow my customer base and boost sales. I also engaged in email marketing campaigns and used customer reviews to build trust and encourage repeat business.




This experience was incredibly rewarding. Not only did I learn about ecommerce operations, but I also gained hands-on knowledge about POS systems, identifying market trends, and leveraging social media to scale a business.
